About CalcoTools
CalcoTools is built and maintained by Altherion Technologies. It’s a small, focused project, not a large editorial operation — that’s worth saying plainly rather than implying otherwise.
Most calculator sites online are either cluttered with ads and affiliate placements, or ask you to sign up before doing basic arithmetic. CalcoTools started from a simpler premise: 93 calculators and converters that just work, run entirely in your browser, and don’t need an account. There’s no server round-trip when you use a calculator — the math happens on your own device, which is also why it’s fast.
We don’t require sign-up to use any calculator. We don’t send what you type into a calculator to a server — see the tier label on any tool page for exactly what that means for that specific tool. We don’t use dark patterns, hidden text, or fake urgency to drive traffic. Where the site does collect something (a waitlist email, basic click analytics), it’s disclosed plainly in the Privacy Policy, not buried.
Every finance and health calculator is built from a real, named formula, and — wherever the formula depends on a published fact rather than pure arithmetic — a real source we fetched and read, not a vague “official guidelines” claim.
