| Muslim World League | Widely used across Europe, the Far East, and parts of North America | Fixed sun-angle below the horizon at dawn and night |

| Tehran (Iran) | Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran | Sun-angle method with its own Maghrib angle convention |
| Turkey (Diyanet) | Turkish Presidency of Religious Affairs | Sun-angle method |
Calculation method and madhab are real, different conventions used by different regional Islamic authorities and schools of thought — not an implementation detail. Verified 2026-09-06: this tool's Umm al-Qura output lands Isha exactly 90 minutes after Maghrib, matching the officially documented Saudi standard.
- • If you're not sure which calculation method to use, check which one your local mosque publishes times with — methods can differ by several minutes.
- • The Hanafi Asr convention is noticeably later than Shafi'i/Maliki/Hanbali — pick the one matching your own school of thought.
- • "Use my current location" gives the most accurate result if you're not near one of the curated cities.
